Arnese Stern, MSN, BSN, RN

Arnese is a healthcare professional with over 22 years in healthcare, business, and leadership. She is a forward thinking, outcomes-oriented leader who demonstrates professional savvy, good humor and accountability .Mentoring that she received during diverse experience in clinical practices, facilitated her smooth transition to the mid-manager and nurse executive levels. She is a highly accomplished professional with business acumen in both Academic Level 1 Trauma (850+ beds) Systems, Community based (70-498 beds) and Critical Access Healthcare settings. Magnet Recognition, Nurse Friendly, Accredited/Non-Accredited and Union/Nonunion organizations are all familiar to her. She has met; and exceeded; programmatic objectives in organizations throughout the United States. Within the healthcare delivery system, diverse administrative leadership responsibilities include: Acute Care, Sub-Acute Care and Post-Acute Care.

A national and international speaker… a certified Six-Sigma Change Agent whose passion is people, quality in practice and process improvement.  Accreditation(s) experiences includes The Joint Commission, Magnet Recognition, Chest Pain, Stroke, and Congestive Heart Failure. She is highly experienced in reconciling “present state” data and achieving “future state” goals. All the while; infusing staff confidence, developing credibility, and obtaining staff buy-in to achieve outcomes.  Exceptional interpersonal skills and a strong personal drive have been assets in achieving the goals of the multicultural communities she’s served and the companies of which she has partnered.


She attributes much of her success as a Nurse Leader, Consultant, and Speaker to her faith, Evidenced Based Leadership, the Lean Six Sigma Principles, and partnerships with dynamic organizational teams.
